Our mission at Her Workplace is to provide welcoming and inclusive spaces where women and non-binary people can show up authentically in pursuit of their personal and professional growth.

We recognize the unique challenges and systemic barriers historically marginalized individuals may face. Committed to dismantling these obstacles, we actively raise awareness, provide targeted resources, and implement supportive initiatives to ensure every member and employee not only feels seen and valued, but also experiences a deep sense of belonging within our spaces.

We embrace open dialogue and value feedback, recognizing these as vital tools for continuous improvement in our journey towards a truly inclusive and equitable environment.

Our Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging Acknowledgement:

  • We’re committed to creating welcoming spaces that celebrate and value the unique identities, perspectives, and experiences of women and non-binary people. We believe a vibrant and thriving community is built on the foundation of mutual respect, understanding, and collaboration.

  • We foster an impactful environment where all women and non-binary individuals feel valued, heard, and respected. One way we do this is through our intimate, inclusive events and programming where we allow for the amplification, acknowledgment, and celebration of diverse stories and voices.

  • We're dedicated to inclusive collaboration, actively engaging our community in furthering our mission. Through partnerships, open dialogue, and the exchange of ideas, we strive to strengthen our commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging. Notably, we partner with a variety of diverse suppliers including Uncharted Coffee, Marlow, and Gorgie

  • Our focus on diversity, equity, and inclusion is an ongoing journey, marked by continuous action and reflection. In our first year, we've taken deliberate steps toward building a more inclusive community. Among these, we proudly hosted two significant events during Black History Month, featuring a panel discussion with Black women leaders from the financial services, entertainment, and tech industries, and a Black female founder and investor event. Both events were not only just about celebrating diversity but also ensuring that diverse voices and stories, particularly those of Black women, are both heard and valued within our community.

  • We recognize these initiatives mark only the beginning of our long-term commitment. Moving forward, we’re not just making promises; we are planning and implementing a series of actions aimed at deepening our engagement and expanding our impact. Our goal is to cultivate a truly welcoming and supportive environment for everyone. This means actively listening, learning, and evolving our strategies to meet the needs of our diverse community. We are excited about the path ahead and invite you to join us in this important work.
